How Death Creates Life: What Nature Shows Us About Dying & Living

Join us for our oceanfront Wisdom Circle and harvest the wisdom of Nature and our own hearts. At elemental, we believe that true wellness begins with repairing our disconnection from our authentic selves and Nature.

Death encompasses so many different experiences: loss of identity, loss of ability, loss of a loved one, loss of your life as you knew it. The other-than-human world does not shy away from this natural, even generative process. When leaves fall to the ground, they become fertilizer. We have the chance to lean on the power of community and strength of Nature around us to approach this, sometimes scary, topic together.

The intention of this retreat is to invite you learn from our other-than human kin -- think trees, sand, waves, bugs, birds, etc. -- about dying and living. Honoring what is meant to be released and composting what has passed.

Julieann + Julia will share a bit in the beginning around the topic, as well as to create the container for the day -- how we will be sharing -- and then open the floor for all of us to share together.

We will be in the sand at the beach, so please plan accordingly. The exact address will be provided upon registration. Bathrooms are available on site.
